A Warranty You Can TruSt
- No re-inspection fee. Most companies charge you a fee to re- inspect your home.
- No transfer fees. Most companies charge you a fee to transfer the warranty to a new owner.
- Who decides if you need warranty work? Other companies decide themselves if you need adjustments. It is up to the company holding the warranty to decide whether or not your house needs adjustments. Who's interest do you imagine the company is trying to protect when they re-inspect your home. At STRATUM your warranty is controlled by an unbiased 3rd party - a state licensed Engineer. If the Engineer determines that our piers need work, we will schedule the crew back out to your house, no questions asked.
The bottom line: At other companies the warranty is written for THEM, at Stratum the warranty is written for YOU!
Below is the exact verbiage you will find in your foundation repair agreement with Stratum.
LIFETIME WARRANTY
(Concrete Pressed Piers or Steel Piers only) unless specified otherwise. Stratum guarantees its work for the lifetime of the structure. Any necessary adjustments are to be determined by a state licensed professional engineer. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to procure the services of the engineer. If the engineer determines that adjustments are necessary, and that the piers installed by Stratum have failed and are the cause of the problem, please send the Engineer's report to Stratum via certified mail. Our offices will contact you within three days of receiving the report to schedule any required adjustments.
TRANSFER OF WARRANTY
Stratum Foundation Repair does not charge a fee for the transfer of Warranty. The warranty stays with the home regardless of the homeowner. Any foreclosed upon or bank seized property will have its warranty nullified and voided. No warranty will be provided to any future homeowner thereafter. No warranty obligations exist between Stratum and Banks or REO Companies.
